Teams Mode (2019) was a significant update to the Teams Mode game mode. It temporarily replaced the original Teams Mode from May 2019 to September 2019.
In this mode, a player joins one of two available teams: red and blue, in which all members are represented by the same color. Members of the same team cannot consume each other. They only collide with one another, just as with the original Teams Mode.
The duration of a match is 5 minutes. The team with a larger total mass wins at the end of the match, with all its surviving members receiving a reward. As with Battle Royale, the game starts as a waiting lobby, and begins once 20 players have joined.
