Sonic Boom is one of the four skins released under the Rise of the Mechanos part of the Mechanos offer. It could be individually purchased with game coins in late June 2017.
Sonic Boom could be purchased in the Skins Shop under the 'Mechanos' tab for 690 coins. It was available for a limited time and may not be available for purchase in the future.

- The Rise of the Mechanos sub-offer has been released many times after the initial 2017 debut. This includes multiple limited time releases every year since 2021. The price for Sonic Boom remained at 690 coins for every release of the Mechanos offer.
- Sonic Boom was released again for limited times under the Domo Arigato Mr. Roboto offer in May 2020 and then in May 2023. For these releases Sonic Boom could be purchased for 1400 coins.
