Fake Chest is one of the three skins released in the multi-part Cap'n Joe's Shop offer. It could be purchased as part of an item deal in mid July 2018.
Fake Chest could be purchased for $14.99 in a limited time deal that included 25000 coins, 1200 DNA and the Deathly Mine skin. This skin was not available for individual purchase and may not be available for purchase in the future.

- Fake Chest could be purchased again for a limited time as part of the Miniclip Legacy offer in mid December 2018. It cost $3.99 and included 3250 coins.
- This first part of the Cap'n Joe's Shop offer was released again for a limited time in July 2023. While the included skins remained the same, the prices and item amounts were changed from the original release. The item deal with Fake Chest was updated to the following: $3.99 for Deathly Mine, Fake Chest, 9300 coins and 300 DNA.
